Timestamps

A Timestamp is a specially formatted and Named cell that XLSior will update with the current date and time. This is useful for documenting when changes or updates were made.

You can add a Timestamp to the active worksheet by using the XLSior > Document > Set timestamp Range or XLSior > Format > Set timestamp Range commands.

This will format the selected cell, or the top left cell of the selected range, as a Timestamp cell. It will have a light grey background, and a worksheet Name X_Timestamp will be defined to refer to it. If there is already a cell with that name on the worksheet, you will be asked if you want to replace it. The current time will be placed in the cell. You may need to make the column wider so the date is visible.

You can update the Timestamp, if there is one, on the current worksheet by using the XLSior > Document > Update timestamp on This sheet command. You can update all Timestamps in the workbook by using the XLSior > Document > Update All timestamps command.
