Removing

To remove XLSior:

  • Make sure that you have a workbook open in Excel
  • Choose Add-ins... from the Tools menu.
  • Remove the checkmark in the box next to the entry for XLSior in the list of available add-ins.
  • Click the OK button.

By doing this you will prevent XLSior from loading whenever Excel has started. You can now delete all the XLSior files from your system.

Workbooks on which you have used XLSior may still contain XLSior sheets. You can remove them by hand as follows:

  • Use Format > Sheet > Unhide... to unhide all the sheets that you want to remove. Note that you have to unhide each sheet individually.
  • Select all the sheets that you wish to remove by clicking on their tabs, using the Ctrl and Shift keys in the usual way.
  • Right-click on one of the selected tabs, and choose Delete from the pop-up menu.
  • Answer Delete to the question about whether you really want to delete the sheets.

Alternatively, you can download the workbook RemoveXLSior.xls from http://www.xlsior.com/downloads. This contains a macro, RemoveXLSiorSheets which will remove all XLSior sheets from the active workbook. It will remove every sheet whose name begins with X~.
