Preferences

You can set your own preferences for how XLSior works in two ways. First, you can specify the behaviour that you would like to see in general (your User preferences); Second, you can specify the behaviour that you'd like to see for a particular workbook (the Workbook preferences).

If there are no preferences set for a particular workbook, your user preferences will apply. If a workbook does have preferences associated with it, they will override your user preferences.

User preferences are stored in the registry on the machine you are using. They do not necessarily transfer automatically between machines. Whether they transfer or not depends on how the local network is configured in your organisation.

Workbook preferences are stored in the workbook that they apply to. They are used whenever and wherever XLSior is installed. You can't change the preferences for a shared workbook.
