Documentation
XLSior helps you to add your own documentation to workbooks through the use of Notes Sheets, Comments Boxes and Timestamps. These features help you to use a standard format for your documention.
You can also use a standard XLSior footer whenever you print from a workbook.
The documentation features can be used manually, through the commands on the XLSior menu, or automatically, through user and workbook preferences.
Manual operation
The menu XLSior > Documentation has the following commands:
- Add Notes Sheet
- Adds a sheet at the beginning of the workbook on which you can write your own notes.
- Add Comments box
- Adds a Comments Box to the active worksheet.
- Format range as Comments Box
- Formats the currently selected range as a Comments Box.
- Add XLSior functionality
- Adds XLSior functionality to the current workbook, by adding sheet descriptions, comments boxes and worksheets as specified in the user preferences for existing workbooks.
- Add Footer
- Adds the standard XLSior footer to the active sheet.
- Remove Footer
- Remove the active sheet's footer
- Update All timestamps
- Update all the timestamps in this workbook
- Update timestamp on This sheet
- Update the timestamp on the active worksheet
- Set timestamp Range
- Define the timestamp on the active worksheet
